Beautiful Bridelux Event at Rosewood London
This week in the heart of London Bridelux showed off all the latest must haves for a modern wedding, the event held at Rosewood hotel was packed full of young couples enjoying planning their big days together.
Bridelux is new in the world of luxurious and exquisite weddings, as their website boasts “Our stylish wedding shows are the only events to truly cater to the top tier of the wedding market.” and they did not disappoint.
With gowns on display from various fashion houses, the first that attendees encountered were a lovely collection of 30′s inspired dresses that would ‘razzle dazzle them’ for sure. Then there were of course the obligatory and yet beautiful pieces from Vivian Westwood displayed on mannequins.
But weddings are no longer solemn ceremonies attended by stuffy aunts and uncles, they are fun packed days with quirky receptions that will entice millennials to get into the spirit of things. So it was no surprise to see ‘lick me I’m delicious’ touting their wares, or should I say gadgets, including the hydrogen powered ice cream maker and bubble machines.
Other unusual editions to the evening were the ‘wow grass’ floors, walls and bars for those of you that want a unique aesthetic on your big day. Of course we saw a photo booth too, the ever growing trendy must have addition for the wedding reception, luring its photogenic victims in with funky fun props.
Though the real highlight of the show was tucked away at the back like the hidden gem it is, the Saran Kohli collection showing off his bespoke suits, that put the other grooms wear exhibitors to shame.
Saran Kohli was awarded ‘Best newcomer’ in fashion design at the international Asian Fashion Awards in 2011, going on to work on many projects including designing the executive uniforms for London Landmark hotel “The Bloomsbury”
Saran has collaborated with JLS, Jay Sean, Ashley Walters, Lenny Henry, Simon Webb, Sachin Tendulkar, Inquisitive and Big Narstie to name a few and it’s no surprise as to why with his unique designs and artistic flare.
Overall it was a very successful evening, the drinks were flowing and all the participants had a really good time as there were treats a plenty to satisfy the tastebuds also, Laduree ice cream, The Painted Peacock chocolate, Sugarbox luxury sweets and even Gin and Tonic lolly pops!
