Damien Rice’s new single ‘I Don’t Want To Change’ was unveiled by Zane Lowe as his hottest Record last night. The track is the first single from his upcoming new album ‘My Favourite Faded Fantasy’ due for UK release November 3rd.

The tracks unveiling comes after the recent announcement that Damien has an intimate run of European and United States shows, including one show in London at The Palladium on November 7th. The tour sold out in its entirety just moments after tickets were released.

Rice’s upcoming album ‘My Favourite Faded Fantasy’ is the first new material to be offered up by himself in eight years. After a videos acoustic sneak preview of the albums title track Zane Lowe said that Damien would once again be an “instrumental influence on our new generation and generations to come. Eight years just evaporates into nothing. Incredible!”
