O-Town are back and they are headed for the UK
Earlier this week the multi million selling act o-Town announced that they are back and headed to the UK this june for their first show here in more then 10 years.
The act was originally the brain child of the producers of the hit reality TV show ‘Making The Band’ one of the first, now common place talent seeking shows to launch a music career, though this was of an era when we got to watch the hard work as a part of the show also.
Their debut album went platinum which also brought them two number one hits with “liquid dreams” and “all or nothing” but after being thrown in at the deep end , with a ‘hit the floor running’ education in the industry the band broke up in 2004 and went on to persue separate careers within the entertainment industry.
Trevor Penick, Jacob Underwood, Erik-Michael Estrada, Ashley Parker Angel, & Dan Miller have got back together as friends and as o-Town to create music once more, for themselves and the fans who supported them since their early beginnings.
Jacob says ‘The UK was one of the countries that really embraced o-Town and we have never forgotten that, can’t wait to be back on the 13th!’ Its not surprising either during their hay day the group had 5 hits in the UK top 40 with greater chart successes here then at home in the US.
Fans of o-Town and the show ‘Making the band’ will be pleased to know, tickets for their 14+ show at ‘Under The Bridge’, London on June 13th went on general sale today and are available through live nation.
